At Green Pines Ranch, not only do we want you to enjoy the outdoors and hunting, but we also want your family to enjoy the experiences as well. That’s why we offer a variety of outdoor recreational activities.
Hiking/Nature Walks – The Green Pines Ranch has approximately six miles of walking trails trough the woods. Various woodland creatures such as armadillos, raccoons, opossums, skunks, coyotes, foxes bobcats and, of course, Whitetail Deer may be seen from these trails.
Bird Watching – There are numerous species of birds at the Green Pines Ranch including: Black Headed Vultures, Turkey Vultures, Eastern Turkey, Ruby Throated Humming Birds, Road Runners, Indigo Buntings, Painted Buntings, Tuft Titmouse, Carolina Wrens, Cedar Waxwings, Robins, Pileated Woodpeckers, Flickers, Blue Jays, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, Northern Cardinals, Mockingbirds, Wood Ducks, etc.
Camping – RV hook ups are available or if you really enjoy the outdoors, tents are welcomed as well.
Local Attractions - Woodville is also home of the Tyler County Dogwood Festival. The last weekend in March is Western Weekend with a parade, rodeo and dance; and the first weekend in April is The Queens’ Weekend with a parade and fireworks display.
